Europe pt. 3 the legend continues
Patrick, yes it is true I have no followers of this blog, but apparently my mom reads it every ten minutes so Im glad you joined in. Good to hear about the tools in Chicago and about the relative distance to Iowa.
Monday - toured Gucci and Prada, Gucci was amazing, they cut the leather with a fine stream of water to make perfect edges, interesting
Today - made lunch with Italys equivalent to Emerill in a $4 billion Italian villa on a mountain that made the white house look like shit, the wine was more expensive than a night in our hotel, which by the way has a balcony, also saw Michelangelos David
Random Notes: You can only buy one beer at a time in this country, not even a six pack...Our busdriver smells like popcorn...people here do not eat breakfast, but they do hang skinned goats in storefronts that may or may not drip strange fluid onto the floor as you pass them...accidentally spent 60 Euros on dinner due to a misunderstanding, learned very important lesson in the process (ps, I thought the meal was 15...mom, Ill explain later)...I havent bought a damn thing yet...tomorrow nighte Venice
love you all

Michael -- Good to hear from you bro. Glad you're enjoying yourself, sounds like an awesome time. Your reads our always interesting, keep em' coming. BTW - I bought an Xbox game today (Splinter Cell) for 8 bucks seeing as I own it for the next month or so, haha. Anyway, if you so please you may inherit the game when you get back. Weather here sucks my ass, absolutely been miserable. Oh, and one more breakthrough in the summer. Dave and I played one-on-one beer pong last night at like midnight at his house while eating a pizza. All this while his parents were sleeping directly above us. Anyway, I'll keep in touch. Hear from you soon. -Steve
One more thing -- sure wish they had this thing back when we were in Spain. Woulda made the trip that much better.
hi honey, yes,i do read and reread this thing about every 10 minutes or so. i find it incredibly fascinating and i love the fact that i can write to you and nicole and your friends all at once. sooo, 60 euros for dinner, looks like someone is gonna be on the italian version of slimfast for the next couple of nights!!!! can't wait for the explanation on this one-it should be an academy award winner. note to steve- we don't have or plan to have a pingpong table anytime soon!!!
i assume you are in venice by now. supposedly it is a dirty city because they dump all their sewage into the canals.thought you might want to know that.keep up the writing-it makes my day. also, nicole checked your car for the ochoa gc.-any other clues? did you leave it at ochoa maybe? sorry, but its 50bucks and it was a gift from peter -and i won't havae an answer when he asks me if i scheduled a massage or pedicure yet. please think. love you tons, and miss you more. mom xxooxo
HI CUTIE, IT'S MOM AGAIN! THE COMPUTER PEOPLE CALLED AND IT'S GONNA BE APPROX $500 TO "FIX" YOUR LAPTOP. I DON'T THINK IT'S WORTH IT SINCE I ALREADY PAID $250 THIS WINTER. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? OBVIOUSLY WE'LL WAIT UNTIL YOU COME HOME TO DECIDE. THE HARD DRIVE NEEDSTO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE CD THING. ARE THERE ANY WORD DOCUMENTS OR PHOTOS THAT NEED TO BE SAVED? HE CAN RETRIEVE WHATEVER YOU NEED. HEY, HOW IS YOUR PROFESSOR? YOU HAVEN'T MENTIONED HIM AT ALL. I LOOKED UP CASA BUITONI ONLINE AND THEY SHOWED A PHOTO OF WHAT THEY CALLED A NEO-CLASSICAL VILLA. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL-I HOPE THAT WAS WHERE YOU WERE YESTERDAY. IT WAS IN A TOWN CALLED SANSEPOLCRO. OH WELL,GOTTA GET BACK TO WORK.
LOVE YOU,MOM XOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXXOXOXO
Dear Pat the Engineer,
Thanks for the prompt advice. Now, do you recommend a desktop or another laptop? I think Mikey is leaning towards a desktop. What do you have? If you have any ideas, they would be appreciated. Thanks, Mom the bankrupt!!!!!
Hi, I think you must be very busy because you haven't written in a while. We understand, but we miss hearing from you. Can't wait to hear all about Venice and about all your adventures. Not much new here-the weather is still sucky and the long holiday weekend doesn't look to be any better. Maybe it will be a little warmer. I know it's warm where you are. Actually, I checked several locations in Europe and it is warm everywhere. We could use a little sunshine-everyone is crabby. I hope you have enough clothes and that you aren't too hot or else you'll be crabby too. ( or should I say Yanni) Hey, checked out the Syracuse D.O. and the scoop is that Billy Edelin will not be coming back- looks like a parting of the ways and he's looking to go to a division 2 school so he can play. Also, you got a letter from camp for a pre-camp program on June 18 and I called John to let him know you couldn't make it. He knew that since you were responsible and called him. :) Also, he said payback is a bitch !!! Hey,I taped all your shows - HOUSE was great as usual!!
Well , gotta get back to work. Today I have an eye exam-blurry drops!! love you tons, mom
P.S.-" some bad hat Harry" that's the little blibbet at the end of House. Ilove how they say it!!
